In the Kansas City metropolitan area, Verizon Wireless found itself in close competition with Sprint for customer acquisition. To become the number one wireless provider for KC, Verizon came to us with the challenge of creating a marketing tactic to show KC some love and catapult it beyond the competition.

SOLUTION

The #VerizonKC campaign consisted of a mobile food truck parked in highly-visible areas with high-foot traffic. Bypassers were offered complimentary menu items based off of Verizon's packages. Along with free food, product giveaways: from phone cases to mobile devices, were hosted throughout the span of the campaign. To amplify the reach and create a more genuine-connection with the community, hand-selected influencers were used to catalyze the tactic.

Throughout the night, our influencer strategy garnished 308K impressions, 215K engagements and over 406 social posts.
